A Guide To: Where FAHRenergy™ is best'
FAHRenergy recovery ventilation units are designed for simple installation at a minimum cost. They are small, efficient, lightweight and easy to install. 

High efficiency, low voltage (12vDC), low power, low weight and small size allow for installation almost anywhere:
Single or two storey house, summer house, caravan, boat, conservatory, cellar, greenhouse, garage, light industry etc.

Extract From UK Building Regulations 2007, Document F
The UK building regulations of 2007 states that a dwelling must have an air exchange of 0.3litres per second per m2. This is necessary to improve the general health of the occupier and prevent rot and mould in the house. By achieving this with an HRV (Heat Recovery Ventilator) thousands of pounds are saved and CO2 emissions avoided.
0.3litres per second per m2 corresponds to 1.25m³ per hour per  m2

A One Or Two Bedroom House
One FAHRenergy Power unit will deliver 90m³ of fresh, pre heated air every hour.
This is sufficient for a small two bedroom house with a floor area to 85m²
.
For a two storey house two FAHRenergy Medium units are a better choice than one power unit. They deliver to 120m³ of fresh air per hour and handles a 120/1.08 = 110m² house. The one unit supplies the upper floor and the other supplies the lower floor. By splitting the installation of a fresh air ventilation system into two each task becomes easier and is generally done in two hours. Splitting the installation into two systems also reduces the length of needed ducts and thus reduces cost of labour and heat losses in the ducts.

Principally one system exchanges air for two rooms and might thus be positioned in the middle between the two chosen rooms to ease installation time and cost.
Many DIY persons will find it a pleasant and easy task.

A two bedroom single storey system would only need one FAHRenergy Power system. This reduces the initial cost to $579. Savings are reduced to £2454 over four years.

A Three To Six Bedroom House
For a 3 bedroom house two FAHRenergy Power units may be chosen. Two systems will supply fresh air to a 170m2 house (UK regulations 2006).
The one unit supplies the upper floor and the other supplies the lower floor. By splitting the installation of a -fresh air ventilation system into two each task becomes easier and is generally done in 3 hours. Splitting the installation into two systems also reduces the length of needed ducts and thus reduces cost of labour and heat losses in the ducts.
